its July.. my first post of the month.. I've been procrastinating since last week when i was busy exciting about going back KL for a break.. i need to blog about the fly kites event i went last month.. i know its really back dated, I'm terribly sorry…
it was a lovely Saturday when Chaw Yin dated us to fly kites that weekend.. the first Saturday of the month..
right after work, me and Rainie went to Bugis for lunch~ we had MOS burger, i love the garden salad and corn soup there.. look at the salad, it looks colorful and fresh~ so appetizing~

met up with Chaw Yin and helped them with some of the things we bought for picnic…
we took train to Marina Bay to meet up with the others~ Jian Tong uncle joined along but he came later coz he went to JB earlier..

the funny people i know…

uncle Jian Tong reached awhile later.. and look what he got us.. a dozen of J.CO donuts imported from Malaysia~! and John bought sushi from Singapore~ we took a shuttle bus to Marina Barrage from the Marina Bay MRT station..

finally reached after waiting for around 30mins in the feverish bus stop.. couldn't stand the crowd, there was even "Naruto" and his gang there.. LOL.. (cosplay guy almost took his white long wig off).. there was quite some cosplay teenagers there, but I'm not too sure why..
REACHED!

we could see the small small kites in the sky from afar~ i was very excited because its my first time here to fly kites after since i was 8 maybe… actually I doubt whether did i actually fly one..

we walked into the some sort of open air building lookalike… it might even look like a stadium… hard to describe…

the center~

we walked all the way up.. round and round it goes~

oh, if you've forgotten to bring your kites, don't be dispirited.. there's one shop selling kites and other stuffs in case you need them..

the sky started to gray itself.. the sun wanna go to sleep already…

you can see the sun behind me..

woah~ very excited!!

we found a spot~ Chaw Yin and ah Wee started to lay down the straw mat on the grass.. they even have PVC canvas they brought from their office.. all pre-arranged! Chaw Yin is a really good planner.. but the grass was pretty wet from the rain earlier in the morning… and the straw mat enable the wet wet penetrate through the mat.. luckily the PVC canvas save the day..

they got everything ready, and while we take pictures~ uncle Jian Tong gone missing… emo kid..

they started setting up the kites~

hey.. we have a kite too~ we didn't do anything with it but taking pictures~ i really cant imagine myself running with the kite..

Chaw Yin's bro gang came after awhile… i lost count, i don't know how many came that day… i think we had almost 15 people at first.. and the number increased..
i love the sky~

while later, we saw this humongous kite in the sky~ really very very big~

we went to the front and took pictures of the sunset.. there were quite alot pros with their gadgets there to capture the most wonderful moment..
i can do one too~

look at the sky~ i love the peaceful feeling…

and when we're back to the flock, they were getting ready to have dinner~

oh look at our foods~ suddenly.. it become dark and we had to use torch light…

see the person in-charge of the light..

oh, and they have cakes~ four birthday cakes for 8 birthday babies~ i dont know who are they.. because its like, the friend's friend.. or the brother's friend and so on…

and look at them, they really got themselves very ready for that night.. masquerade? birthday party? Chinese birthday red egg???? doesn't they sound alittle weird? but whatever, they really enjoyed themselves..

after the heavy dinner.. they gone crazy… fooled around like kids~

night scenery…

the lights…

this is the picture of another end… and yes, it is that DARK..
and you know what, there were people still flying kites in the dark.. i think Singaporeans are weird…

last picture to roll up my post…
