yes, i know I'm a year late..

I'm still in updating last year's events.. i don't mean it… its just that I'm very occupied…

updating my outdated post..

during the last New Year eve, i had to work half day.. and after knock off, i went to Cityhall to meet up with Li Ching, Rainie and Jian Tong for another New Year Eve lunch just like our Christmas eve lunch..

but the lunch ended early, right after lunch we headed back  home..

my flight was at 10.45pm.. so i took a short nap before heading to the airport… was at the airport early so i took my time to walk around the terminals.. from terminal 1, i took the skytrain to terminal 3.. but ended buy nothing…

i was lucky i guess.. spent on nothing..

the plane reached KL at 11.45pm.. i was walking fast and hoping i could still countdown with Chun in the car.. but who knows there was a huge jam in front of the immigration counter.. sigh.. so everybody's queuing, and i didn't know that it actually passed 12am already…

out to the gate at 12.20am.. late for countdown…

Chun took me to Jalan Ipoh for his claimed yummy dim sum, when we reached KL.

Chun said their "lo mai kai", glutinous rice chicken is very recommended…

and i personally love this phoenix claws…=) very spicy..

everything is not bad.. can say its recommended place to eat dim sum other than my uncle's shop in Taman Megah..

but… i really dislike the "char siu pau" BBQ pork bun.. so flat and the skin is so thickk..

yeah, i know.. picture sucks.. planning to get a new digicam, coz my Nikon 3700 is almost 5 years?? lost count.. its too antique already… thinking of getting Lumix LX3 or Fujifilm F200..

as usual.. back at home and unpacking my hauls~

i bought a shirt for Chun from Domanchi.. its gonna be his CNY shirt.. and also the cigar chocolate which he loves~

New Year day

we stayed at home after lunch with Chun's family because everybody's busy with their own stuffs, and i missed to make an appointment with my gf.. so i surfed the net for the whole day.. dinner with the family too, and after dinner we went out for a movie~

movie was nice~ the moody dark scenery.. love the old English setting.. i really would decorate my house with those old English furniture and stuffs with gold finishing.. so grand.. like my Pet Society.. and also the dress~ the maroon color ones.. very pretty.. the movie was really not bad, Sherlock and his asst was dam smart.. i know its not them, but the novel.. the dark projection is really annoying, i would love to watch on HD screen though..

Chun's very excited about the bulldog… hmm.. *no idea*

and so, on the Saturday dated my gf.. we'd had our post New Year lunch @ The Garden, 1 Utama.

they have really nice and cozy garden.. i just hope they don't have insects only..

Christmas is still not over.. their lighted reindeer at the Cafe entrance..

Chun ordered Garden Black Pepper Chicken Chop, while me and Irene had their Butter Ginger Dory Fish Fillet and Chin had Chicken Paprik.. our side order the Caesar Salad..

talking about Caesar.. my wish someday maybe to get married in Las Vegas.. and stay a month in Caesars Palace.. i think their augustus senators and emperors suite its priced at approx usd$2000 - $6000 per night.. and its all sold out most of the time, unless you book early.. while the normal rooms, are available cheaply.. really gonna start working hard already..

Chun and Chin had the cold drinks.. served in a cute small jug…

while me and Irene had jasmine tea for 2..

we walked 1U after that.. coz i was so in the shopping mood.. i was shopping for a pink luggage bag~ hunting very hard.. almost give up because the last time i was there, i saw a pink luggage at the Segue shop.. but it was sold out that day.. disappointed.. walked till finally i got it..

met up with Irene and Chin again for dinner.. we planned to dine @ Full House… but its really full house because someone booked the whole half of the cafe and the tables were booked.. the front tables weren't full.. the people who made reservations haven't come also.. but the people there refuse to open the reservation to walk in customers.. disssaaapppooinntedd… Chin was so pissed off.. and we even paid RM2 for the parking.. ended with disappointment only..

so Chun suggested to eat in Palate Palette as per our 2nd plan because we listed down our place to eat before that.. Full House was our first option.. it didn't work out.. so to plan B..

we actually had a very hard time searching for this restaurant.. its really like located at deserted area although that place is very happening..

the theme… nice and cozy..

take a look at their decorations.. very very old and kinda cheesy with a twist..

and huh, i was seated at a sewing machine frame.. chio!

look around the place.. its a very nice place for a good dinner~ or a drink..

oh ya.. you people should take a leak in the restroom coz the doors, they have 7 locks.. you can either lock one or running out butt naked when people start screaming FIRE if you lock all 7 locks..

they gave us this buns… far behind in this pic, there's the butter with spice looks like truffles to me.. I'd really thought that's they're white chocolate truffles..

we had this chicken lollipop~ Lolli lolli lollipop~

 

Chun ordered this Chicken Lasagna.. the portion looks kinda small though.. but Chun its very very stuffing..

Irene had their special "Fish and Chips"~ look at the chips, American chips… chips are french fries in British.. those on the rod are yam and sweet potato.. kinda like roasted/fried/grilled..

Chin had Sundried Tomato Battered Chicken Chop, very special.. tucked in the mashed potato..

and finally my Tandoori spiced chicken breast~ very very juicy and tender~ yummilicious..

great food, nice place.. very recommended.. i hope you people can find the way there, coz we're lost for almost 1 hour i think…

total satisfaction.. back at home and play with my shopping hauls~

I'm so happy coz i strike another item from my wish list~ oh not one item, its 2 items..

 yeah, i know its not pink in color coz WD pink HDD all no more stock.. even in Msia and Spore..so maybe if i have time, i'm gonna try to bling bling it like Avril's mic. or worse come to worse, i'm just gonna get my mammi to sew me a pink pouch..

great news, a good friend of mine Aping just gave birth to a very cute and healthy baby girl yesterday evening… good job Aping~
