the day to Ubin

Posted by: emily

February 27th, 2012 >> eastern, excursion, seafoods, yummy yummy~

It was 20th Nov, when we all decided to have fun @ Pulau Ubin…

We bought the Ubin Cycling voucher from the web earlier, and we’re entitled for a boat ride to the island, bicycle rent and fish spa/kayak/snorkeling @ Celestial Resort.

Met up with the rest @ MRT station early morning before we took bus heading to Changi Village jetty… All directed by Aunty Serene, she’s the best~

This is the boat we hopped on headed to Ubin Island…

It took around 30mins to 45mins to reach our destination…

Look at the view, to me… It’s like I’m back in Sitiawan, but in Pulau Pangkor.. and a little bit dirtier…

We got ourselves ready by applying sunblock, mosquito patch, sun-glass, cap and etc… Then we started to walk to the shop which rent our bicycle, provided by Celestial Resort..

This is the bike shop.. Almost the furthest one… and the bike which we are getting from the voucher are those cheap bike far behind.. Suck to the max… But it’s better than nothing, so no complain…

Cycling around the island… This lake is pretty… but its too cloudy and dark when we’re there…

Ok now, this picture proves that the pink bike is not mine… =)

Uncle Jian Tong came late because he had some business to attend.. So when he arrived, we’re having our lunch @ nearby the bike rental shop~

Food and seafood was tasty but portion was so small.. Maybe just enough for 1 person or 2 max.. So we ordered more dishes…

After lunch, we went back to Celestial Resort again to attempt trying on the kayak… But it actually started to rain just after we got our pass… Sad…

So the others went to the fish spa, while me and Chun took a nap at the food hall… Tired…

Last picture of the day~

Happy cycling in the rain when we really had to go back to the jetty to catch the boat…

Not wet, its just drizzling lightly…

February 22nd, 2012 >> baby's playground, events, fast foods, homecooked, yummy yummy~

A week before Christmas, we had a potluck dinner over @ Norita’s place. It was supposed to be a gathering dinner but because we postponed the dinner from October to November then to December, might as well make it a Christmas celebration dinner..

So on the 17th of Dec, we finally gathered…

This is Norita’s crib~ I super heart it~

Our food~ I brought Golden Pillow delivered to her house and Jason + Yandy brought Popeyes~ While Norita baked cream pasta..

This is Norita’s Tri-Colore pasta from Venice (she got it the last time she went there, and kept for us) done in cream baked style~

Started eating~ We’re so hungryy…

For desserts, she prepared Chocolate cupcakes~ awww heavenly… yums~

They come with Vanila flavor too~

Our pressies~

Norita got each f us 2 pressies, and we do some pressie exchange.. Mine is the one which looks like tube/candy..

After the draw~

Left-Right: Yandy, Jason, Me & Norita~

And when the draw was done, this is my pressie~

Azlan, my another ex-supervisor got the roll of money tissue paper I bought~ LOL~

We and our presents~

I love hanging out with my friends~

Thanks for the wonderful dinner my friends~

LoVe on water…

February 21st, 2012 >> accessories, anniversaries, ❤ beautilicious~

There’s one day when Chun decided to take me to Marina Bay Sands…

To the LV on the water boutique… Louis Vuitton Island Maison @ Bay Sands..

The glass and steel pavilion floating off Marina Bay Sands, one of them is the world’s largest Louis Vuitton boutique.. Now you see how grand it is…

The interior..

Chun told me he’s gonna buy me any bag I wish for… I was really excited because this is the official first time he’s gonna buy me one… So I picked Cabas Rivington~

It’s my belated anniversary present =)

We waited for the assistant to bring us the bag… I was pretty excited~ He’s gonna get me one, finally…

Let me bring her home…

Happy unforgettable night~ for my belated 5th Anniversary gift…

Before that, he dropped by my place to pass me this cute thing:

It’s a handmade oversized anniversary card.. but of course, its not made by him.. He ordered from someone who’s good in craft-making..

But the back part was not filled.. I wonder whether he wants me to fill it up and pass back to him next year??

I bet so… I’ll fill up next year~
