Day 5, 8 Aug 2011

Our itinerary of the day… The Queen’s Head (Ye Liu), in other meaning it could be meaning “foreign object”… Nahh… I’m just kidding~ We started our day without Chin and Irene coz it’s their wedding picture taking day…

passed by a shopping mall, so excited~

Took the MRT to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, from there we headed off to the deserted area by bus… All i can say is, aunty serene is a very good planner.. She know everything and how or which bus we should take there… It’s a very very complicated place.. We sat almost 1.5-2 hours in every bus trip.. I only can (x.x)..

Bus stop… All in chinese.. X.x

After 1.5-2 hours bus ride…

Reached.. But not there yet… So near yet so far… We had to walk in to the fisherman’s village coz the queen’s head is located somewhere inside there..

Tired… And super hot…

The fisherman’s village, look very simmilar to Pangkor Island~

Stopped by the 7-11.. Yummies~ Happy to see this~~Cooling~

I super love this papaya milk drink~!

They call it, the Cute Princess…

Check out who stole the pink fan… =.=

Tickets~~~

We dropped by the information desk again to borrow their stamps, they have more than 10 different stamp for us to choose from~ Cool~

we just like to chop chop and chop~

This is the queen’s head 2, it’s a replica version to preserve/keep the shape of original head.. Coz due to the nature’s whether, the original head is gonna be out of shape soon… Just not sure when it will be..

The potholes..

they just have to be in my picture…

we have pink umbrellas~

Queue to take picture with the queen’s head… Super hot!! The sun is being so harsh on us…

there’s people behind the Queen’s Head, and I decided I have to PP them off…

Gift shop`~ We bought quite some stuffs~ Including those sweetened herbal rock sugar..

Walked out back to here again… Waiting at the bus stop…

Then from the Ye Liu, we took another bus to the Gold Geological Park… Checking out how they dig their gold… And there’s some old antique historical hut stayed by the Crown Prince..

The first one we visited before its closing was the 4 joined of Japanese style residence..

On our way out from the Geological Park.. The sky looks like the dark cloud is fighting with the sunlight… It looks like it’s gonna cry…

Took another bus down the hill.. Stopped in front of this shop.. so cutee~~

famous pineapple tart it seems~ alot of people buying..

super good looking scenery… check out the church on the right below..

This area is called “Jiu Fen” (maybe can be translated to nine shit in English, LOL just kidding) but i really don’t know what it’s called.. It’s a very very interesting market/shopping place.. It’s all the way up the hill.. It look tremendously beautiful especially during the sunset…

the street~

When we reached the first shop, it was their uber famous desserts shop… So we sat down and had taro and sweet potato balls right away… Coz we’re too tired to walk…

Traditional style snowflake~ In  ginger soup.. yuckk…

After filling out tummy, walked down the “Jiu Fen” market… It’s so pretty~

Transformers replica?

Top of the Jiu Fen hill… It looks so nice up here…. Calm…

Our way down now… The shops started to light up… Look at how nice it is…

I guess it could be a restaurant..

We took the train back to the Central and then MRT back… It’s nice experience of trial and error… Had a good laugh…

Then, back at the hotel..

I can tell you.. My bed was calling me the whole day… Since morning…

Tired to da max…

I never felt my feet soOooOoOo not attached to my body before… NUMB…

Although it’s a food court, but the food there was not bad… Edible and some of them was nice… I had pork burger and salad from MOS Burger while others bought from the stalls… It’s pretty hard for me to survive there as I don’t know how to order food with all those menu in Chinese characters… Starving to death in Taiwan…
