Our vacation is almost over by this time… We can only cherish our memories… awww….

Our mission today is to hop on the bullet train.. Just for once… So we had our breakfast outside, then to the railway station… Had MOS Burger nearby our hotel.. This’ the  first and last breakfast we took outside the hotel, coz from day 1 to 7, we ate the buffet breakfast in the hotel although its kinda bored…

my salad~ with sea thing…

To the Bullet Train(HSR – High Speed Railway)~~`

2 way tickets~

Check out this priority seat while waiting…

All the way from Taipei to Zuoying..

The inside~

This is all I have left..

Then to Si Men Ding again for the last time… Grab everything we wanted and left for our hotel shuttle…

Meanwhile, I grabbed this KFC egg tarts in custard and brown sugar~ They’re so yummyyy~ Thanks to Angel she recommended this… The best I’ve eaten in this 8 days trip…

Finally… Time to leave… We waited in the 7-11 in front of our hotel… The receptionist came and told us the van is ready to pick us up.. Sadly we ride on the van…

Time to go..

This one looks like half of the BKK trip van and luggage…

When we arrived in the Taoyuan Airport, we asked their service to shrink wrap up our big plastic bag, and this is the result… LOL~ we paid for it ok…

Queue for checking in..

Tickets~

Finally get the both stamp!! and this is not my passport.. Mine was stamp 1 in page 2 and another one in page 4… So pissed off!

Day 6, 9 aug 2011

Woke up, bathe, dolled and get ready to go somewhere name Yang Ming Shan National Park… At first thought I really thought that we were going outing, and never expect it to be a hiking.. T_T.. Even dressed up nicely out…

This is good, *thumbs upp*

Took buses to reach here…

1st stop… This was where the Sun Wukong in journey to the west stay in.. LOL!

Touch me~

The flower garden? forgotten what’s the name for this thing…

Hike up and roll down…

Stopped in the middle of the greenery to have a nice lunch…

They serve superb delicious home-cooked meal.. yums~ Especially the scrumptiously white steamed chicken~ with a tint of their special sauce~ *thumbs up*

Veggie, tofu and some root with eggs…

Ok, after the tummy happy filling session is done… Back to continue our journey exploring the jungle…. T_T Up the hill again…

Nice scenery… But it could be scary at night… Wooo woooo….

This is Xiao You Keng, it contains a host of volcanically-created fumaroles, sulfur crystals, hot springs, and landslides. Sulfur vents noisily spew forth gases, and hot springs discharge endless streams of boiling water. (from website)

Resting… Me headache…

Almost done… the day is getting darker… We’re advised to leave the park before late evening… So we’re waiting for bus to come and fetch us… Waited for pretty long and we thought that there’s no more bus in service.. Luckily there’s another one… Not sure it’s last one or not..

After Yang Ming Park, we dropped by Sogo coz the guys wanted to look out their stuffs.. They’re also indeed shopping freak! I got shocked looking at the prices of the stuffs there… 0.0

The only thing I like about Sogo then was their food court… They serve pretty nice decent food~ yummy~

I had this fried glass noodle with pork chop~ yums~

We visited Shilin night market again after that… Chun was doing all the shopping while I just grabbed some little little stuffs…

He buy buy buy!

I bought some hairpins and clips…

Rest…

Its a very very tired day… I brought my flat Japanese slippers everywhere I go in case I needed it.. and yes, I wore them every evening when my feet starting to break apart…

Day 7, 10 Aug 2011

This time is real outing! Shopping!

Today without Chin and Irene again coz they’re to the wedding boutique…

Walking down the Taipei street… Happy Day~

It was a very nice day for us to walk along the Rich Madamme Street (I named it, supposingly its called Tai Tai Street maybe). check out all the luxury brands…

This is Regent Gallery. Aunty Li Ching’s details supposed to bring us to DFS (duty free shopping) Gallery, but we ended up at the same place but different gallery because it was moved… No more DFS here… sigh… no luck…

But we went in the Regent Gallery and looked.. It is peaceful, calm, nice…

posing…

luxury aunties?

nice display~ how creative…

Then we walked towards a smaller shopping mall… We sat down @ Starbucks for coffee… i love coffee here because they let us choose the sweetness of our drinks~ yumz~ while waiting for Irene and Chin from their bridal house…

We started to walk again because its almost time when Irene and Chin came to join us…  Walked through Zhong Shan metro art gallery to the interchange to catch a train to Si Men Ding…

priceless…

check out those cute pussy’s portrait…

Aww.. so cute~

Today we’re gonna cool @ Xi Men Ding~

Wee~ this is the always best raved street in Taiwan…

First stop, eat first… Famished!!

This is the overrated oyster vermicelli, some said the best in Taiwan… when we’re there, no queue.. not packed…

tah daaaa~~ the “owa mee sua”

Slurpping~~

Then we bought the bubble tea beside it…

all in Chinese man….

i ordered milk tea green tea~

Happy shopping while waiting for Irene and Chin to come to meet us…

Then, we dined @ Modern Toilet

Our table~

The menu

We were asked to order 6pax, every pax have to order at least 1 item from the menu.. That’s their restriction.. terrible.. So ridiculous. Will definitely wont come again!

Food was so so… Nice to see, not nice to eat..

Yeah, we walked awhile more before we headed to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall…

Rainy days… Gloomy mood like mine…

the main gate~

Lastly.. We dropped by another night market before we headed back to the hotel… That’s what famous there.. All the night market… T_T

meows~

Before we left, had a little pau from a “seems-to-look-like-famous-shop”.. It was not bad though…

The end of the whole trip… Check out my receipts! From money, change to receipts!!@@

All the hauls@!@

Tomorrow is the final day in Taiwan.. Enjoy…

Day 5, 8 Aug 2011

Our itinerary of the day… The Queen’s Head (Ye Liu), in other meaning it could be meaning “foreign object”… Nahh… I’m just kidding~ We started our day without Chin and Irene coz it’s their wedding picture taking day…

passed by a shopping mall, so excited~

Took the MRT to Zhongxiao Fuxing station, from there we headed off to the deserted area by bus… All i can say is, aunty serene is a very good planner.. She know everything and how or which bus we should take there… It’s a very very complicated place.. We sat almost 1.5-2 hours in every bus trip.. I only can (x.x)..

Bus stop… All in chinese.. X.x

After 1.5-2 hours bus ride…

Reached.. But not there yet… So near yet so far… We had to walk in to the fisherman’s village coz the queen’s head is located somewhere inside there..

Tired… And super hot…

The fisherman’s village, look very simmilar to Pangkor Island~

Stopped by the 7-11.. Yummies~ Happy to see this~~Cooling~

I super love this papaya milk drink~!

They call it, the Cute Princess…

Check out who stole the pink fan… =.=

Tickets~~~

We dropped by the information desk again to borrow their stamps, they have more than 10 different stamp for us to choose from~ Cool~

we just like to chop chop and chop~

This is the queen’s head 2, it’s a replica version to preserve/keep the shape of original head.. Coz due to the nature’s whether, the original head is gonna be out of shape soon… Just not sure when it will be..

The potholes..

they just have to be in my picture…

we have pink umbrellas~

Queue to take picture with the queen’s head… Super hot!! The sun is being so harsh on us…

there’s people behind the Queen’s Head, and I decided I have to PP them off…

Gift shop`~ We bought quite some stuffs~ Including those sweetened herbal rock sugar..

Walked out back to here again… Waiting at the bus stop…

Then from the Ye Liu, we took another bus to the Gold Geological Park… Checking out how they dig their gold… And there’s some old antique historical hut stayed by the Crown Prince..

The first one we visited before its closing was the 4 joined of Japanese style residence..

the place where they hid themselves when in trouble..

Walked our way to the gold digging place..

This piece of pure gold worth TWD348701194. Do the math..

he look like he won it…

The showroom were closing for the day… So we were ushered out from the building… The look from above~

On our way out from the Geological Park.. The sky looks like the dark cloud is fighting with the sunlight… It looks like it’s gonna cry…

Took another bus down the hill.. Stopped in front of this shop.. so cutee~~

famous pineapple tart it seems~ alot of people buying..

super good looking scenery… check out the church on the right below..

This area is called “Jiu Fen” (maybe can be translated to nine shit in English, LOL just kidding) but i really don’t know what it’s called.. It’s a very very interesting market/shopping place.. It’s all the way up the hill.. It look tremendously beautiful especially during the sunset…

the street~

When we reached the first shop, it was their uber famous desserts shop… So we sat down and had taro and sweet potato balls right away… Coz we’re too tired to walk…

Traditional style snowflake~ In  ginger soup.. yuckk…

fried prawn fritters across the shop..

After filling out tummy, walked down the “Jiu Fen” market… It’s so pretty~

Transformers replica?

Top of the Jiu Fen hill… It looks so nice up here…. Calm…

Our way down now… The shops started to light up… Look at how nice it is…

I guess it could be a restaurant..

We took the train back to the Central and then MRT back… It’s nice experience of trial and error… Had a good laugh…

Then, back at the hotel..

I can tell you.. My bed was calling me the whole day… Since morning…

Tired to da max…

I never felt my feet soOooOoOo not attached to my body before… NUMB…
