Valentine’s Day – actual day

Posted by: emily

Monday ❤ May 14th, 2012 >> anniversaries, ❤ beautilicious~, eastern, nails, yummy yummy~

After the awesome, romantic and dandy valentine holiday @ bangkok…

The actual day… Waited for the whole day… But no sign of “valentine” feel… I meant, no flowers or present on my desk… My boss and lady boss went to Taiwan for Valentine celebration for the whole week and we were left in the office…

was waiting for roses/flowers to be on my desk… T_T

So in the end, I went to the nail saloon and got pedi done in Gelish Mint Icing, while waiting for Chun to knock off…

We had a very awkward dinner @ Ichiban Sushi because all were seated like in the exam hall.. =.=

That’s what all Valentine’s about… *hehe*

We ate and we went home… Compare to KL celebration, we normally go for a movie before heading home.. but this is better than nothing~ ^^

Wish ya all a belated Valentine’s Day~ *since its like in May now* :p

2006 – 2012 and counting…

Bangkok Valentine day 3 – back to Spore..

Posted by: emily

Wednesday ❤ May 9th, 2012 >> Bangkok, bangkok food, fast foods, special occasions, vacation, yummy yummy~

Day 3

The day we woke up from our dream… End of holiday… >.<

We woke up early and packed.. First thing to do, breakfast~ We decided to have McDonalds after “negotiating”… Morning, they only serve breakfast… So no Samurai Burger…

Check out the item on the light-box, the one which looks like apple pie. It’s ham and egg!! We decided to order it..

Total damage, 277bhat. Equals to RM27.70 for only breakfast…

Me with my swollen eyes and face in the morning…

He and his sunshine smile for breakfast…

Our breakfast~~~

We went back to the hotel after breakfast, coz we need to check out at 12noon.. We decided to walk around the building before going off.. Finally back to the hotel room to pick up our luggage…

Complimentary water from the hotel.. Shaped like the hotel too…

Checking out time.. Told ya there are quite some handsome hunks in Baiyoke Sky.. This is only the receptionist, there were also the bell boy, room service guy and some other tourist from other country were not bad too.. =) happy smile~

We threw our luggage to the hotel’s luggage care center after checking out… and we took a cab to Siam Paragon again~ Coz we planned to watch a movie there~~~

Amazed with the super grand cinema…* jaw dropped*

Box Office neh~

We queued and bought our ticket… And guess how much is our tickets???

Its whopping 210bhat each!!! Meaning its, RM21 per ticket!! And its only normal seating… Premium/VIP seating is RM50 if not mistaken.. *jaw dropped x 2*

The Safe House~

Movie start in 3 hours time.. So we went and explore the mall… =)

We came, We saw, We duck~

Food hunting… Actually we’re too bloated from the breakfast, but we had this crepe… and the Thai looking style cocktails~ or maybe its not even Thai… Just hotdog… I’m not that sure tho…

Food picture alert…

cute cakes~

not sure what is this…

the cocktails we ate.. somekind of small hotdogs and meatballs… with some weird sauce..

somekind of apong?? with sweetcorn, onion, and other weird weird thing…

(I know I FAILED, I totally forgot what it’s name)

and finally, this is Thai Crispy Pancake.. We should have tried this, but we were too full.. >.<

Then we walked to Siam Centre for more…

Chun went in to this shop… and bought a local designer’s shirt, anr… pretty cool tho… Creative fitting room doors…

Back to the cinema… Checking around…

me and the roses~

The cinema hall.. Pretty normal just like those we have in Msia and Spore.. But the armchair were kinda huge.. with springy effect, good for more comfort but not good for Msia because in Msia, people behind always like to put their foot/shake legs on the front chair…

After the trailers and advertisements, and before the movie… We were to stand up and sing their national song when the screen is showing it.. Wow.. very patriotic…

It was a pretty exciting experience, when the movie finished.. We were rushing back to the hotel as we’ve already booked the taxi for our transfer to the airport. Late and its jammed, because its 6pm… We were 15mins late and the cab driver were rushing and calling us… ;p

He sent us to the airport and rushed to somewhere else as he had to pick up other customer..

@ the airport…

Checking in…

Looking for dinner…

Ok finally he decided to dine here… The menu drawing looks like him… With the spec…

Hungry for Thai food~ I had pad thai and he had… not sure what is that, its maybe paprika chicken?? and the white soup, its tom yam thick soup… well.. It could be the best I’ve had in the airport~ *thumbs up*

Finally… We’re leaving…

The Gate…

On the plane…

Adios amigos~

We’ll come back next time for more massage massage~ =p

It was a splendid trip, with good food, dirt cheap massage and superb hotel… Just cut down on shopping.. Can’t do all… Low budget…
